Culture Night Update from Mrs. Fraser:
Thank you again for participating in our 2nd Annual Cultural Night tomorrow at 6:30pm. There has been slight changes to the evening. We will be now opening the parking lot doors at 6:00pm to let everyone set up their table. The tables will already pre-set up in the gym with your country’s flag posted on it. There might be a few people representing your country, for example I believe we have 3 families representing Canada and we hope that you will share a table. Again, the school will be providing the cutlery, napkins and paper plates for the evening. We will have tape, scissors and glue if you need it. If you are bringing food, can you please have a card with the list of ingredients on it, just in case there are participants with allergies. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at [email protected] . 100 Days of School Celebration On Friday, our classroom will be celebrating the 100 days of school. We have been reading the book "The One Hundred Day of School!" by Abby Klein. On Friday we will do many special activities with the number 100. As part of our celebration and going along with the book we are reading, students are asked to bring one hundred or some thing. It can be stickers, cards, marbles, coins, buttons etc. Each student will decide what to bring on Friday, the only rule is that it is no more and no less than 100 and they must count it themselves. Scholastic Orders Orders for scholastic were due yesterday, if there are any orders for the month of February. Please sent them in as soon as possible to place the order. If paying online, I still require the paper copy to process the order. Today's Learning: In Spanish, we have begun to write about our family. - how many people - who is in our family - describing family members (hair color, age, eye color, favorite colors, etc)
